This month, we are pleased to add The Dutch Marketplace as one of our stockists. On the outskirts of Hatfield with plenty of parking what a great place to meet friends for coffee, cake and plant shopping. The Dutch Nursery was founded in 1957 by Anna and Hans Henn and although it has grown and evolved is still a wonderful family run business. The foodhall is such a great place to find delicious local foods and a comprehensive meat and cheese counters. You will now find a wide range of our preserves on the shelves and we are sure the customers will love them.
SSSSShhhh! Don't tell anyone but we have won 2 more Great Taste Awards. Our Bramley Apple & Pear Chutney and our Chuckleberry Jam have wowed the guest judges at The Guild of Fine Food.
'Bramley Apple & Pear Chutney*'...."A well judged chutney, deeply fruity with well balanced sweetness and tartness, gentle spice.... We feel this would be versatile, and particularly pleasing on a British cheese board.
'Chuckleberry Jam **'...." A refreshingly tart and concentrated jam with fruity aromas and a glorious natural ruby red colour. This jam would be delicious in a cream tea or with meringue.....
A glossy, deep-purple attractive jam that is really well-made and delivers a refreshing zippy acidity and a vibrant, rich fruitiness. We felt it would add interest to a multitude of culinary applications.
...A great product...the flavour was innovative and interesting.

New Stockist- Bob's Family Butchers & Deli- Hatfield
This well loved family business has relocated and relaunched within this new and impressive development on Hill Top Way. They will be stocking a wide range of Stanhope Preserves alongside so many other high quality local producers. Alongside their beautiful butchery they will be selling local deli items, charcuterie, artisan breads and the most amazing range of meat seasonings and rubs!

Van Hage Garden Centres in Great Amwell and Rickmansworth now stocks Stanhope Preserves.
Recently acquired by The Blue Diamond Group these sites offer a relaxed and specialised shopping experience. You can find our preserves in their Foodhalls, the Great Amwell site is a lovely day out with a huge range of plants, garden equipment, a restaurant, Foodhall and even a miniature ride on train!

It is December and this month our seasonal Preserves seem to take over our kitchen. We cannot make enough of our Cranberry & Orange Conserve, perfect for roast dinners and with cold cuts and of course all sorts of cheeses. Delicious in a Brie sandwich... Thank you for all buying in your droves directly from us and our stockists, we are delighted to be gracing so many of your tables this month! Seasons Greetings.

We are delighted to be in the October issue of Hertfordshire Life magazine under their 'Food Heroes' feature. Tina Richardson has written about us and has made a delicious recipe using our best-selling Bramley Apple & Pear Chutney. Very Autumnal. We entered The Great Taste 2022 awards this year. All of the Jams we submitted have won Awards, Our Spiced Plum Jam, Blackcurrant & Cassis Liqueur Jam, and Our Gooseberry Jam. We are thrilled as the Guild of Fine Food run a robust and challenging judging process with blind tastings and 500 judges from the food industry.
Over 110 countries globally entered products to include over 14,200 entries. Approximately a quarter of entrants received any level of rating...... enough stats, we suggest you try some!
